  • Belize is known for its renowned Barrier Reef. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the largest coral reefs, stretching form Bacalar Chico to the Bay of Honduras. Take a day-trip to snorkel in tropical waters filled with one of the world’s most diverse ecosystems.

  • The Hol Chan Marine Reserve is another fantastic snorkeling spot located off the southern tip of Ambergris Cay, where you will have the opportunity to snorkel with stingrays and sharks, if you dare.

  • Explore the Great Blue Hole, a massive marine sinkhole off the coast of Belize.

  • Visit the coastal village of Hopkins, known for its Garifuna culture and beautiful beaches. Relax on the sand by day and witness traditional Garifuna dance and musical performances by night.

  • Tour through the Actun Tunichil Muknal Cave. Escape the heat in cool, cave temperatures and discover archaeological sites of skeletons, ceramics, and stoneware to learn about the Maya civilization up close and personal.

  • Continue to absorb the fascinating Maya culture by visiting many of Belize’s ancient Maya structures, which are superb demonstrations of architecture and engineering dating back to the Preclassic times.
